Working
in the not-for-profit sector gives me great pleasure, and my consulting
practice has allowed me to witness and participate in the great and
vital work being done in our communities. It is my passion to help
not-for-profit organizations "do good by doing better". Through
investing in financial systems, these organizations can enhance the
overall performance and programmatic outcomes, leading to greater
longevity and community impact.
The mission of my consulting
practice is "supporting not-for-profit organizations in achieving their
financial, operational, and strategic goals." I provide highly
customized financial consulting services in the San Francisco Bay Area,
Northern California and nationally. By working in close partnership
with management, board and staff, together we develop the financial
systems, techniques, and approaches that not only support long-term
sustainability but also are consistent with the unique culture and
character of the organization. In addition to project-related services, I
am also available for interim CFO/Finance Director engagements.
